The pope called on world leaders to "stop" and sit at the table of dialogue — a direct message to the Islamabad negotiators as the fragile ceasefire enters its final days.
It was a pleasure to join Pope Leo and others from around the world at this vigil via the Vatican network. I knew exactly who he was referring to when he said, “Enough of the idolatry of self and money,.” Again, I am thankful for the work you are doing through Letters from Leo, it gives me hope.
I noticed that the traditional reading of Revelation 12 was replaced (with a good alternative) in the fifth mistery, but the passage reappeared in his garments, along with St. Francis — who saw that text as a lesson that the only enemy a Christian should wage war against was the Devil himself. Hence the "lent of St. Michael".
Pope Leo gives me such courage, even in my everyday life. I am so grateful for Pope Leo, and for this Letters from Leo community. Thank you, Christopher!
I am also sending to my Facebook account. Wanted to ensure that is fine with you
Of course! It’s meant to be shared.

I am so grateful for Pope Leo XIV 💗🙏🏻 He speaks the truth to the powerful. He cares for the weak. Thanks be to God.
