Any pope must be for that which the Church exits and not for himself. History hasn’t always given us popes who advance the Gospel message of compassion, service, humility and truth seeking. Recent popes, however, have shown a remarkable and consistent support for social justice and the vulnerable. Pope Leo is following this lead and well he should because the papacy is not about the man but about the Gospel.

Pope Leo is safe, surrounded by walls at the Vatican. That’s all fine and good, but sovereign nations are allowed to do the same thing. Nations should keep their citizens safe. BTW, the US brings in the most legal immigrants in the world.

In office 4 months now and a long interview and he has not said the word abortion. There will be another 73 million abortions worldwide this year and he does not care one bit about saving the unborn.
