Thank you so much for what you are doing. I'm disabled and unable to support very many subscriptions, so I appreciate your access as long as you are able to make it available. I'm like the woman at the temple waiting to see the Messiah child in some ways ... I've been waiting most of my life to hear the Church able and willing to use its voice in the ways I hear it now. Thank you.

I like Pope Leo, but it’s easy to say “welcome the migrants” when you don’t have to pay for them or vet them or clean up after the bad ones. Catholic teaching also supports the right of nations to have borders and laws. I’ll go with that and let’s agree that all migration must be done through legal channels.

You just tripped over your own selfish pride. Suppose you, should clean up first.

Thank you for this. The Beatitudes should be what we refer to on a daily basis. Maybe that’s what at this person needs!

He means welcome the migrant. Accept their gifts and value their lives.

No, obviously there are hurdles and hardens hearts. But, we will pray for compassion. Maybe even reserved judgment.

JD may want to just convert to being what he really is, an American racist neo Christian. That seems to be a better fit.

Leo should be excimmunicated. What is he the leader of the Catholic church or a politician? Can't be both.

The Pope should clean his own house first--denounce ardently Catholic Leonard Leo and the Heritage Foundation who are responsible for our descent into totalitarianism.

I, too, appreciate your articles. I have been on disability about twelve years now. There's no much I can afford. Thank you for allowing me to read and share your articles.

The big take away I hear in the messages of Pope Leo XIV and the bishops is that the sanity of human life does not just apply to the unborn. Every life is precious. The majority of the immigrants being mistreated in the US are far from being violent, gang affiliated, rapist and murderers. The only method to the trump regime's madness is "ethnic cleansing."

The sad fact is that every last one of is an immigrant or descendants of immigrants unless you are an individual whose ancestors are Indigenous to the Americas for Columbus brought disease and violence to this party of the world.

We are the strangers here. But, it seems European white men bullied their way to the top. Conquest and conquering is all that matters to them.
