This season of Lent has been very moving for me. Reading this column daily, following Hallow, going to mass during the week, and making sure I am focused on Jesus made mass this morning very meaningful.

Florentine Boudreaux wrote the newsletter for the St. Louis Jesuits in the Civil War. Couldn’t get back to Chicago. Some of the seminarians drafted and priest and went. Florentine did such a service for his brother and sister.
