At 12:00 mass today our priest told the story of St Patrick. That should be talked about a lot and put focus on that. Even though I’m Scottish and Irish I strongly dislike what St Patrick’s Day has become. It’s just an excuse to drink green beer and get drunk. Most people probably don’t realize Irish were hated. There used to be signs at businesses saying “No Irish and No Niggers.” Both groups were immigrants, one voluntary and the other one involuntary.
My ask of Saint Patrick today is that he come and drive all the snakes out of Washington DC.😎
