Sounds great.

I’m a fan of both the Pope and Cardinal, so, I trust this assignment.

This all sounds very positive! Thankful for God’s guidance in blessing the Church with Pope Francis and now Pope Leo XIV. 🙏🏻🤍

This is fantastic news! I’m a parishioner at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and will be attending midnight Christmas Mass next week at St. Patrick’s. Cardinal Dolan will be presiding so it will be interesting to see if he says anything about this if it hasn’t been made official by then.

I saw somewhere that Hicks was replacing Dolan. His missionary work bodes well for him in NY. Just an FYI, I read an article in NCROnline that Pope Leo comes from a mixed family. He’s the White Sox fan, one brother is a Cubs fan and his father is a Cardinals fan! I’m sure it was interesting during baseball season.

The medieval church had antipopes. New York gets an anti-Dolan. No more Faux News chaplain, no more swallowing microphones. 🙏

Interesting! I had no idea about NYC working on the abuse settlements. I live in Milwaukee where Dolan came to New York from, and there’s still a bit of a bad taste for him here based on how he handled abuse cases. Dolan has reminded me so much of the e Pharisees of Jesus’ time.
