We are all waiting for an answer to Sister Sylvester's question: it's not just a question for Vance - it's a question for all people who support his administration's cruelty and total disregard for the teachings of Jesus regarding "the stranger". There is absolutely no justification that can reconcile the actions of ICE and the teachings of Christ.

He speaks with forked tongue. Sad.

Watch what they do, not what they say... The FAILURES of TRUST are in the stratosphere, literally, and figuratively. May Good prevail. May we be agents of Good.

I believe at some point Vance leaves the church- his beliefs are not in line with pope Leo or the mainstream church

There is a type of person that is labeled an empty suit. JD Vance has to be one of the most perfect embodiments of an empty suit.

I know they probably should not opine, however I would love to hear from Fr. Dominic Legge and Fr. Henry Stephan regarding their student and the track he seems to be on.

I’m sure they’re proud of him- aren’t they both of the right leaning side of the Catholic church?

J D’S cognitive dissonance is astounding. How does the man sleep at night? He must be relying heavily on God’s mercy.

If Vance won't listen to the Pope or nuns, you think he might listen to Michael?

Start with the man in the mirror, Vance.

Yes the question is still open. Vance cannot argue against what is clearly stated in Scripture and practiced by the priests and nuns. It is clear in Catholic Social teaching I am unsure of how he manages the cognitive dissonance
