Me too! I really have work to do. I have a habit of making snarky comments around maga family members. 🙏 for me to learn to speak with love. I need it.
It is not that we must refrain from an honest critique of evil, harmful actions of local or federal government, which manifests clearly as anti-gospel, but, when we do this, we must do it with prudent consideration of its effect and we must learn to speak not in rage and hate but with a peaceful heart, and with respect and love even for the persons we criticize. This is not an easy spiritual project for life but a good initiation into the call to conversion of Lent. Blessed be our God for sending us Pope Leo.
There is so much evil that is being done today. I have family members that support this administration, and it hurts me deeply. I know that I will be working on my words during Lent. Pope Leo inspires more each day. Thanks for all your work and strong faith. This substack has been a true blessing in my life. 🙏

It’s hard not to make negative comments when we see who is the White House.
It is really hard around family.
