Pope Leo XIV’s delegate preached to 50,000 pilgrims and the leadership of the American Church without saying the word “communism” once. The poor came up fourteen times, and so did the celebrity priests who preach themselves.

I had to smile when I heard the word "empathy" in the sermon. The entire ceremony was amazing and the sermon was marvelous.

We are living (and dying from) the results of unregulated capitalism right now. Our freedoms under "capitalism" are being taken away. Our abilities to sustain dignified life is being eroded. We seem to be unable to effect change. What exactly is it that makes communism worse? If it be the often mentioned aversion to and destruction of religion, we seem also to be accomplishing that on our own by practicing a Christianity that is convenient rather than christian.

I may be wrong, but I can't recall Archbishop Fulton Sheen associated with any political party. He stood for God and God alone.

Barton is definitely following Trump saying communism is a growing threat in our country. It is not. Democratic soy is and that’s entirely different.
