I almost skipped reading this article because I just don't have time to read all I want. I am glad I read this and I wish you all would too, whether you believe or not. Pope Leo reminded us that if POTUS starts unnecessary wars he will be sending our children to kill and be killed. He was bold in his remarks, rightfully shaming the tRump for obvious reasons and us all for being complicit and doing nothing to stop the terror. IS THIS ENOUGH to make you stand up to illegal wars and horrendous acts against humanity. No, not yet? You let me know and I will send you information on how to resist peacefully while we still can. United We Stand - Divided We Fall.

Suffering is everywhere —from Ukraine and Russia, Gaza and the Middle East, many African nations, Central and South America, homelessness in American and European cities, poverty in Asia. At its root is the very natural human need for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Unfortunately, our human population is exceeding the capacity of the earth to provide these basic needs for all. My hope for the future is that our leaders (religious, civic, political, scientific, cultural) encourage all people to embrace smaller families so all can receive the earth’s bounty and share it with our nonhuman beings. Peace to all life on earth.

“Critics might argue that a Christmas sermon should stick to purely spiritual themes.”

Daily life and the spiritual are inseparable.

So, in addressing suffering, the Holy Father was addressing a most intimate matter of spirituality.

Maybe the Pope should read up on Gazawood and AI.

Also, maybe he should care about the circulating falsehoods calling Jesus a Palestinian born under occupation, the implication being that the occupation was Jewish, not Roman, which is what it was.

Rome conquered the Jews. Jesus was born a Jew, in Bethlehem - Judea - and he died he Jew, too. A Hebrew speaking Jew.

It appear that the Church that was complicit in Hitler’s decimation of Europe’s pre WW II Jewish population is BACK.

Sorry that the Jews didn’t and still don’t accept our fellow Jew, Jesus, as the son of God and the Messiah, but not really sorry. We gave you a gift. BE GRACIOUS and say thank you.

Do you think Jesus would approve of the Muslim lies, distortions, and inversions, which the Pope seems to love to amplify? I doubt it.

Tell the Pope to leave us alone. Everything he has, he has because of Jews and Judaism.

Merry Christmas, former Pagans! Please remember your humble beginnings and stop trying to impose your universalism on us. We are not here to disprove or prove that Jesus was the son of God. We’re just here.

Everything the Pope has is because of God. Everything all of us have, including Jews, is because of God.

The Pope is repeating Palestinianist LIES. They didn’t come from God.

And the Jewish antiquities that the Vatican still hoards. We didn’t give those freely.

God didn’t tell anyone to force conversions on his Chosen People or murder those who refused. God didn’t tell Crusaders to plunder the Jews or anyone else.

The Pope is a man, not a God.
