Thiel hates Pope Leo because he reminds the world of the dignity of human beings, and that it doesn’t rest upon their personal wealth. Pope Leo doesn’t follow the CCP, he follows Jesus Christ and shows how to apply Jesus’s message to all in today’s world. Thiel has a serious delusion he shares with Muskrat (whom Thiel dislikes,) and it is that their wealth endows them with wisdom they don’t have, and that it entitles them to lord it over the rest of us through the misanthropic “philosophy” of Curtis Yarvin.

Don't forget Thiel's loyal employee: J.D. Vance. lol

Thiel and his ilk really are trying to take us back to the Dark Ages. They want a feudalistic society with themselves as the aristocracy and the rest of us as the serfs. During that time the rulers were constantly trying to bend the Church to their will. It’s history repeating itself.

This makes me sick.

Pro-tip for Thiel: if you're more obsessed with the antichrist than Christ, you've lost the plot.

Peter Thiel is a Nazi monster. And he owns JD Vance.

Geri Cochran's avatar

Yep...and he'll own America if magas continue seeking a dictator daddy to take care of them. lol The felon won't be lasting much longer.

Is it just me or is Peter Thiel looking more & more like Gollum?

It's certainly easy to picture Mr. Thiel muttering, “My precious!”

When I read Theil’s comments, I read fear on his part. He realizes ethics and morality are not on his side, so he goes for the sensational accusations. The Pope is holding the bright light and Theil cannot survive the scrutiny.

"sensational accusations"...exactly. It's all they have - making ridiculous and sensational accusations or remarks because otherwise, they'd have nothing to say. The Pope really is a bright light, so happy he is shining now.

I read Thiel has a great fear of death. Wouldn't it be funny to be close enough to him to gaslight this fear? lol

Perhaps Thiel himself is the Antichrist - because isn’t that what the Antichrist would say, labeling the Pope as the Antichrist, in the spirit of Luther, Calvin, Knox, and the KKK? Projection & deflection.

My thoughts exactly. And if Peter Theil was the inspiration for JD Vance’s Catholicism, I now understand why Vance’s Catholicism is so distorted.

I pray that Pope Leo and the Church will keep angering Peter Theil and morally empty people like him —- forever!

Geri Cochran's avatar

Nah, he's a tool only, just like many authoritarian leaders. Kind of like the felon in that he tells on himself. lol

I see the western ruling class is back in the days when they accused John XXIII and Paul VI of being communists.

Laughable.. that’s how desperate they are

Complete and utter nonsense.

Thiel may have read the Gospels and I stress the word may. He hasn't understood them, the rich and powerful never ever understand the story of the rich young man or the driving of the money changers from the temple. If the Church is angerring such morally empty people as Thiel, Vance and Trump then its doing something right.

Christopher thank you for continuing to point out the dangers of Thiel and his enablers via Palentir. In the US voters must face the hard facts of how deeply rooted this poison is in our government Many in Congress hold stock in Palentir. Thiels Dialog Group invite only includes several attendees from Congress. Pope Leo is our seeing stone 🙌 ✌️

Voters where I live will support the felon no matter what he does. The evangelicals don't care about his behaviors...they believe this regime will end life, so that they can live on Earth in paradise and peace from everyone else.

Voters that are maga Christians sweep away the felon's behaviors as just being him...the threats are nothing to them, until it's directed at them. Still, they are making money in the stock market, and the wealth is worth trading Jesus for the felon. Sad, but true.

Then there are the voters that may or may not also be in the other groups: the group of people who hate anyone different from themselves: people of color; females; LGBTQIA+; people of different religions (Muslims); the disabled, the poor, and the disenfranchised. This group also enjoys the felon's cruelties. They usually claim to be good Christians, but their actions belie their words.

I don't think they'll be changing any time soon. :(

I will never understand how people who call themselves Christian can consider any of this ok. It boggles my mind. What part of the country are you in? I’m in New York a predominantly blue state but I am literally surrounded by Catholic and Christian conservatives who think the sun shines out Trump’s arse.

No truer words.

And it begs the question as to why he was invited to Aspen’s Ideas Festival, and why anyone would find reason to listen.
