Not a Catholic, but just a good old-fashioned Christian, who believes in the Lord‘s goodness and his grace and mercy! I will be praying for the pope for his health to return, and like I said the Lord is good, and this man will be blessed because he has been a blessing to all Christians, not just Catholics.
Thank you! I truly have been blessed. I had breast cancer 10 years ago. I’m in remission not by any of my doing, but by the Lord ‘s doing and he’s going to continue doing it because I have more life to live for his glory! Also, I am his beloved child and he takes care of me, and if I’m his beloved child, lowly as I am, the pope who is much more elevated than I am, the Lord will definitely be watching over him and taking care of him!!

I am an emergency physician, and - although the publicly shared information is scant - I, too, share Dr. Reiner’s positive outlook on The Pope’s prognosis, added greatly by his apparent overall good health and physical condition. I remain hopeful and very optimistic that the Pope will be swinging his tennis racket again soon!

I agree with my favorite Doctor Reiner. He is a very master doctor. I am sending my favorite Pope Leo my prayers. He will be healing quickly. Pope Leo will continue to play tennis and swimming.
Praying that this was found and removed without further complications. Pope Leo is leading the spiritual, moral and ethical issues for the world, and of course the spiritual leader of the Church. I trust the Holy Spirit will support him and those around him.
The Pope’s voice and moral courage are sorely needed in this moment. I’m not a Catholic, a Christian, or even a theist. I don’t pray. But I’m thinking of Pope Leo and wishing him well with all my heart 💜.

Perhaps this will be an opportunity for some precious soul to count the healing of the Holy Father among their miracles on the way to Sainthood. Praying for the Pope's complete recovery. Also that JD stays the hell out of Rome for the foreseeable future.
I walked around all day without my smartphone so came home to the news of Pope Leo's lung cancer and my heart sank. I am of Irish descent and just learned the Irish phrase for "I am sad" really translates to "sadness is upon me". I write a haiku every day so this is the one for today.

Still hope he will travel to Latin America and some day come to the Redwood Forest where I live to breathe in the incredible air we have here and say the Mass for Creation in Nature's Cathedral of Tall Trees. I will be sending my card in the mail tomorrow now that I know what we are aware of regarding his health.
