Final lab results confirmed the tumor in the pope’s right lung was localized. Hours earlier, eight days after surgery, Leo rode through a rain-soaked St. Peter’s Square, blessed babies, and sang the Our Father in Latin.
May God continue to bless and keep Pope Leo, but I hope he continues to rest and care for himself - for his sake and for the sake of the works. He is a light in the darkness - we need him🙏
Thank the Lord for this outcome. I am personally grateful for his continued inspiration, grateful for the world to continue to have his strong voice of compassion and grateful for Pope Leo to to have his life unencumbered by the trials of treatment and be able to continue his good works.Praise God.
Grateful that this was localized and no further treatments or surgery are needed in the foreseeable future. Still approaching his work from a servant's viewpoint be it moving chairs or photos with so many others. Hope he can rest on the flights over.
I have prayed everyday for him to be clear of cancer. Our country and the world need Pope Leo to heal the world and our country.
I was diagnosed with melanoma in 2007. I found it immediately, had a biopsy done within a week. Within six weeks I had surgery and it hasn’t come back. I’m forever thankful for that.
Fantastic news thank God
