I do not understand religious leaders actually voicing their preference for empire, ie hierarchies and an “us vs. them” system. That’s the opposite of Christlike.
There's such a huge difference in Pope Leo's expressions when he's around people he actually likes and those he just has to be polite around. I'm certain he's definitely heard of Matthew McConaughey, given his love of movies. Surprised that Harry Styles was in the General Audience! I never would have guessed!
