They are all leading by example. I love it. I was entering high school when Vatican II was introduced to the community, same as Pope Leo. It makes my heart smile to see things promised come to fruition. I am grateful.

I am very proud of and grateful to Archbishop Broglio for his clear stance - the Church's clear stance- on murder. Afterall . . . Trump holding his Bible (up-side-down!) only goes so far!

Same here. I was so angry when that hypocrite stood in front of St. John's Episcopal Church and held the Bible upside down. He is the embodiment of the Seven Deadly Sins. Also, "Thou shall not put any other gods before me".'

It is unbelievable how he portrayed himself as Jesus.

Apparently the Christian Nationalists accept this from THEIR wanna be God.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't soldiers volunteer for this travesty? I couldn't imagine being told you are compelled to..

I'm sure that's the case. The point is that this is a serious breach of our Catholic fundamental ethic and morality....this is almost a formal notice to the Trump administration, and adolescent Hegseth, that this is serious and unacceptable behavior that could foretell other irreconcilable differences in the future that we (the Catholic Church) will not back down from!

I appreciate the Catholic hierarchy providing a solid backing for Catholic soldiers to rely upon. But what a difficult situation for them, in this regime.

I hope this regime doesn't take the Catholic leadership's guidance as a challenge. If so, I wonder if those who refuse will be arrested and court martialed for refusing to follow an order? These men may need a lot more support if this regime get its retribution. I hope this won't happen.
