You must have some interest in the Catholic Church. Think about what you are missing because you don’t go to mass. I don’t agree with everything the Catholic Church or USCCB does, but the Eucharist is what is most important.
We especially need to pray for peace this Lent. Pope Leo is correct about the folly of this war. It reminds me of the old saying that “fools rush in where angels fear to tread.”

Unless used in defense of self or others, violence is a choice by the corrupt and criminal bullies of the world. This article reflects on how the Pope connects the dots, comforting those afflicted by violence in a neighborhood and inflicting a moral cognitive dissonance for the unnecessary violence used on the people of Iran. I'm grateful for the Pope who has joined with other moral centered people for calling out the sins of nations, and grateful for Mr. Hale to follow and keep the rest of us informed about Pope Leo's messaging.
Those children looked excited to see him and have him talk to them. I hope they remember him. The man shaking his hand looked grateful and honored. What at honor it would be to shake Pope Leo’s hand. Pope Leo is a gift to the world.
